Le Voyage dans la lune

Roteiro: Georges Méliès, baseado em dois romances populares de seu tempo: "Da Terra à Lua", de Julio Verne, e "Os Primeiros Homens na Lua", de H. G. Wells.

Sinopse: A trama começa com uma reunião de astrônomos, presidida pelo professor Barbenfouillis, que apresenta a proposta de viajar à Lua. Mesmo sob protesto de alguns, seis membros do grupo concordam com o plano. Eles trabalham duro na construção da cápsula em forma de míssil e são lançados ao espaço com a ajuda de belas moças.
Ao chegar à Lua, a cápsula atinge o "rosto" do satélite bem em um dos olhos. Eles desembarcam, veem a Terra à distância e se acomodam para descansar da viagem. Mas, enquanto sonham com estrelas e planetas, a neve começa a cair, acordando os astrônomos. Assim, eles buscam abrigo em uma caverna, onde descobrem cogumelos gigantes. Lá surgem também seres alienígenas chamados de selenitas, que capturam os exploradores e os entregam a seu líder.

Elenco: Bono (Paul David Hewson) nos vocais, The Edge (David Howell Evans) na guitarra, Adam Clayton no baixo e Larry Mullen Jr. na bateria.
Sinopse: U2 3D é a versão filmada com câmeras especiais que permitiram captar e pós-produzir campos de profundidade que dão "volume" aos shows da banda irlandesa pela Oceania e América Latina em 2005-2006, dando a impressão ao espectador de estar bem pertinho do palco (ou em cima dele).
A turnê Vertigo, que divulgou o CD How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb, passou por Melbourne (Austrália), Cidade do México, Buenos Aires, Santiago e São Paulo, e a tecnologia utilizada proporcionou alguns ótimos momentos.
A explosiva "Vertigo" abre o show com toda a energia, seguida de "Beautiful Day" e da clássica "New Year's Day", quando o vocalista Bono apresenta a banda. A bateria de Larry Mullen Jr. quando vista de cima dá uma impressionante sensação de volume das baquetas, pratos e tambores, assim como os suportes de microfones que propositadamente ficam no caminho do espectador, dando a impressão que vamos tropeçar neles.
Seguem as novas "Sometimes You Can't Make it On Your Own", "Love and Peace or Else" (com Larry Mullen Jr. tocando um tambor estilo taikko) e a antológica "Sunday Bloody Sunday", quando Bono parece dizer "Wise your tears away..." (Enxugue suas Lágrimas) tão de perto que dá até vontade de pedir um autógrafo. Bono põe uma faixa na cabeça com símbolos que propõem a coexistência pacífica do Islamismo e do Cristianismo.
"Bullet the Blue Sky", "Miss Sarajevo" (com The Edge nos teclados) e "Pride (In The Name of Love)" dão ênfase no tom pacifista do show, com direito à leitura de trechos da Declaração Universal dos Direitos Humanos.
"Where the Streets Have No Name" leva a platéia ao delírio e a transição para "One" é marcada pelos flashs de celulares e câmeras. A banda se despede e pouco depois retorna para a grand finale, com "The Fly", "With or Without You" e "Yahweh", que é tocada durante os créditos finais.

A jovem Hua Mulan (que significa "magnólia") resolve ir à guerra no lugar de seu pai, que está velho e doente. Disfarçada de soldado, Mulan destaca-se entre os combatentes e se torna general. Ao voltar vitoriosa, após 12 anos de batalha, ela renuncia a todos os cargos para cuidar do pai.
O imperador manda, então, seu marechal à casa de Mulan para lhe conceder prêmios. O poema termina assim: "Substituindo sua farda de batalha por traje de menina, acariciou a bela trança diante da janela e pintou as sobrancelhas perante o espelho. Então foi saudar seus colegas, e todos ficaram espantados: 'Doze anos estivemos juntos e ninguém soube que Mulan era menina'".
